Serious denial among Americans today is a serious problem and threat to everything we say we hold dear. I sympathize with how hard it is to face the truth about something you so strongly believed was the other way, but denying it doesnt change facts, it only allows the carnage to continue. In the information age, ignorance is a choice, and just doing my job is not an excuse for not exercising personal responsibility. The rabbit hole runs deep, with traps and deceptions to distract and mislead you, with twists and turns that will shock and often break your heart when you realize what you have been a part of supporting, but, if you keep searching you will find more truth. A lot more than youll find through our propaganda mass media. Maybe it is the inability to forgive ourselves for what we blindly supported that keeps most Americans in denial. Maybe if we could, we could begin to heal as a nation and suicide wouldnt be the leading cause of death among our military. If only all the good people werent so afraid to come out of their manufactured shells.
