Serious issue we need to address here guys. Weve received a few complaints about the manner of the comments on the post about Adebayor being granted a leave of absence. A fair few of those comments were out of order quite frankly. Some were rude, some were disrespectful, and some were actually racist. On this page we try our best to have a zero tolerance approach to these kind of comments and as a page we apologise to those who were offended by comments on this post. In general we do trust you guys to not comment in such a nasty way, and weve never really had a problem with this until now. We are sincerely sorry for us not watching those comments closely and intervening when the it became less than tasteful, it wont happen again. In regards to the actual post on Adebayor (and any future post about any player), you guys are more than welcome to slate for his football, but youve no right to say some of the things that were said about his personal life. He has been allowed leave for personal reasons, reasons that could possibly be quite traumatic for him and that does not make it okay to say some really horrible stuff about him. You want to complain about him, you complain about his involvement in football. Thats it. So as much as it is the admin fault for not monitoring that post and stopping the comments, some of you are at fault too. As Ive said, we trust you guys to not comment in such a way and we were let down by a few of you. Well do our best to stop it happening again but we need you guys to help us to do that by just being careful about what you say, we will be banning those who cant. Otherwise, thank you to those who are very respectful in the comments. Fortunately it is only the minority that needs a bit of attention, but something like this only needs 1 person to cause a problem. As we cant be checking every single comment on every single post, please dont hesitate to send us a message and report it to us so we can deal with the situation there and then.
