Seriously Counting my blessings tonight! Ben and I were putting up the final bit of Christmas lights (which I of course was pushing for) when the ladder randomly snapped and folded up while he was on it. He was pretty much at roof height when it malfunctioned. The ladder hit him in the face, fell on top of him and he hit his head on the brick and the cement on the way down. I seriously panicked there were so many thoughts running through my mind when he was lying there twisted up on the ground. I was so afraid I was going to loose my best friend and better half. I am so grateful that after an instacare visit we walked away from this with a mangled up finger and a cut to the face. This could have seriously been a life altering night, I feel so blessed.
