Seriously, I LOVE Karen Carpernters voice (Weve Only Just Begun, Close to You, etc) but I honestly had NO idea she was a beast on drums! Even though this from a TV special they did and the music is hokey/cheesy at best, those drum solos are anything but, and I can only imagine what an afterparty might have been like if she jammed with any soul or rock artists of the time like Stevie, Led Zepplin, EWF, Chicago or anyone else of that era! Would have LOVED to have seen that!
