Seriously, I am begin to be supporting and be an advocate for the scraping of Local Government, if the Fed and states Houses of Assemblies fail to grant them full finacial autonomy and throw their selfish interest to the bush. I just realise and know what and how the Local Govts are suffering, what is the essence of Local govt that can not pay its workers, and owing them for good three months or more. If a local govt can stoop so low to such extent, all because of shortage of fund, and you are expecting such LG to make meaninful projects. Although, I am not too surprise seeing such failure from local govt that ought to serves as grassroot govt, thus making people have the sense of belongings in govt, because we always or mostly misused virtually everything we have access to. What is the essence of a local govt that can not realise upto 1m in a month? If we must have total change, it should not start and stop at the Fed level(the Presidency), rather it should start or stop at local level by giving them total finacial autonomy with close supervision by Fed govt, not even by State....with reasons. APC and PDP should note this...APC in particular.
