Seriously, Seriously DANGEROUS! This SMART SCHOOLS BOND ACT will have a detrimental effect on every school district in the State of New York. Please read the whole thing--here it is. Dont be fooled, sullied, tricked, and basically lied to about this ACT to amend education law. It happened to us once already which is why we have COMMON CORE--read what this is going to do to local accountability. Regardless of whether or not Rob Astorino is elected if this act gets approved by the voters of this state, Rob Astorino is going to have an even tougher time once hes elected. So Vote Rob Astorino and vote NO for the SMART SCHOOLS BOND ACT. For tax payers, its the neutering of your wallet, for teachers its the neutering of your profession and for elected officials of the Board of Education its the neutering of your local control.
