Seriously, can someone please tell me why this is sticking point? The House bill being crafted currently has this language which has been widely blamed as one of the major sticking points as to why the Senate would not pass said legislation. I understand the debt ceiling and spending limit dates differ some in both the House and Senates separately crafted bills, but they are not so different that an agreement could not be reached. The major difference......anything to do with ACA is off the table. Why? The President already approved changes to the law and Congress didnt object then....just fuzzy on why now? If Harry Reid and John Boehner would both not be allowed to speak or influence their parties and allow them to vote for the good of The United States not by the letter behind your name or because you are afraid of political reprisals, I believe this could get done. The House framework would include a two-year suspension of the medical device tax in ObamaCare and require that all members of Congress, the president, the vice president and political appointees purchase health insurance on the ObamaCare exchanges without additional subsidies.
