Seriously how important is Jesus to you? Do you love him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength? Then why don’t we listen and obey him? Why do we worship him our way and not what he wants? Then we wonder why our life is such a big mess! So where do you and I find peace in the midst of turmoil? (IN JESUS). He is our peace. He is what we hang onto when all other hope is gone. He is the relief from our pain. He is what gives you and me the confidence to keep going when all seems lost. He is what enables us to maintain an even keel when the world around us explodes. When you put all of your trust, all of your faith, all of your being in His hands, you can be at peace no matter what happens in your life. Knowing that He is in control... that He is fully aware of everything that is happening and is handling it for you... that He is causing everything in your life to work to the good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28), that whatever disaster strikes in your life is only temporary... it has come to pass, not to stay. This is what gives you and me peace. If you havent found it yet, seek His peace. He will give it to you freely. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 Paul in the bible found peace in prison and through many other situations, and so can you. Just focus on Jesus, but you have to listen to him and obey him, remember he knows what’s best.
