Seriously..mon sense applies here. There is one key issue missing from this article...the fact that raw greens contain inhibitive enzymes that prevent absorption of the B vitamins. So, for all of the raw foodists and vegans that think they will get enough B-12 from kale, think again. Everything in our lives should be about balance. We, as humans, must kill plants and animals to sustain our physical bodies. However, we need to live in harmony with the animals and plants, rather than destroying, spraying and attacking the way they naturally live. Humans can live without carbohydrates, and pretty well for that matter. They cannot live without protein and fat. One more thing...most scientific studies are flawed. They are paid for by the FDA, or by someone with an agenda to make people diseased. Remember, studies told us to stop eating eggs and to eat margarine 20 years ago. Heres how it works...eat a balance of animal and plant foods. Avoid processed foods...and limit SUGAR & STARCH CONSUMPTION...even natural sugar. Inflammation is the root cause of disease, not FAT intake. Also, sugar and starch products are typically full of GMOS.
