Sermon Title: Living Under Divine Immunity Scriptural Reference: Ephesians 2:10-12, Exodus 1:7-9, I Chronicles 4:10, Exodus 8:22, 9:4-6, 20-21, 10:28, 11:1, 2-3, 12:29-30 Diplomats or ambassadors live and operate in the countries they serve in the same way they would have lived and operated in their home countries. Diplomats and ambassadors enjoy diplomatic immunity. Diplomatic immunity exempts them from laws and regulations of the countries in which they serve as representatives of their countries. As Christians and believers, we are diplomats/ambassadors of God on earth. This means that even though we live on this earth we are not of the world. Our rule, laws, control, privileges and rights are not of this world but of God. As diplomats and ambassadors of God on earth we have divine immunity from the rule, control and influence of the world. Divine immunity is enjoyed by everyone and everything that comes under the direct control, influence and rule of God. Our immunity as believers covers every aspect of our lives on earth. As Christians, we are covenant children of God and therefore have total access to the fullness of God. We have the right to the full benefits and privileges of the kingdom of God. In Exodus 1:7-9, the Israelites experienced the bountiful blessings of God even though they were slaves/foreigners in Egypt. This is because they had divine immunity as result of the hand and favour of God upon them. In 1Chronicles 4:10, Jabezs life was transformed because the hand and favour of God came upon him when he prayed. When the hand of God comes upon a person or a group of people it liberates them from all their difficulties, challenges, weaknesses, setbacks and failures. The hand of God upon a person releases grace, favour and divine exemption. Benefits Of Divine Immunity 1. God distinguishes you from all others when you come under divine immunity - Exodus 8:22 2. When you find yourself under divine immunity your possessions and interests are protected - Exodus 9:4-6 3. God will compel your enemies to reverence Him(your God) when you have divine immunity - Exodus 9:20-21 4. Divine immunity causes God to ensure that your enemies are ensnared by their own negative words and plans - Exodus 10:28, 12:29-30 5. Under divine immunity God deals ruthlessly with your enemies and pushes you into your inheritance. Divine immunity releases divine speed upon a believer for easy accomplishments. - Exodus 11:1 6. Divine immunity ensures that you have divine favour, grace and total restoration. When the favour of God locates you every impossibility becomes possible and you enjoy acceptance and open doors. - Exodus 11:2-3 In conclusion, when you come under divine immunity God will lift off every burden and bondage upon your life and He will never allow anymore oppression to come upon you again. Divine immunity causes God to punish all your enemies who put you under bondage and oppression. We must not be in a hurry in life because we will be prone to mistakes. Just stay under Gods control and direction and He will bring to pass every plan and purpose for your life. All you need to do in order to enjoy divine immunity is to love, honour and faithfully serve God.
