Server is going to be up again by later morning possibly 12 latest. I have been forced to completely reprovision the server (aka, wipe it. start over) but I was able to backup the entire folder containing the game server before this. This is completely unrelated to the hacker (who was really bad at hacking) which only caused me to change some passwords before realizing he was exploiting the open nature of our server. I have implemented Anticheat solely because it has a graphical interface that admins can bring up in their browsers--plus its as versatile as programming itself. I have no tampered with it at all, but it does have the ability to recognize hacks being used, bad language, and spamming by default. So let it exist for now until I get the enterprise aspect of it up and running and you guys can give it a taste. On that note, Authme will be on again until we are comfortable with the security measures. I was on the server before the sshd protocal completely failed (server-side) and it was fine... no damage except that he apparently banned people a lot. Which was fine for me since I never got on to let him get me! Take that, nub! But really, its all in James ballpark now of course, Im only the guy keeping this server alive and placing measures when necessary to ensure that. I will leave it on no later than 12PM with authme on unless I somehow find proof that Anticheat is unfailingly awesome by default. That would be sweet. Anywho. SEE YOU SOON!
