Service at 9:30am) June 23rd Unitarian Universalism – “To Infinity and Beyond.” With increasing numbers of people identifying as “spiritual but not religious,” shouldn’t Unitarian Universalism reach beyond our congregation to appeal to vast numbers of people? This Sunday, when UU’s from across the nation are meeting at our national UU General Assembly in Louisville, Kentucky, we will learn a bit more about the larger picture of Unitarian Universalism and what it has to offer us here at Foothills. We will examine how the diversity of UU’s from around the nation gather and how we can help and support each other in a great unity of associated congregations. We will hear powerful stories from members of our church who have attended national and district UU gatherings and how those experiences have transformed their lives. (Eleanor VanDeusen, DRE)
