Services Required of Graduate/Undergraduate FATA Students for Survey related to Water Challenges and Water Governance in FATA IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature, under the Pakistan Water Programme is implementing a study entitled “Water Challenges and Water Governance in FATA”, Federally Administered Tribal Areas. Under this study the, the FATA Water Sector Task Force constituted by the IUCN is planning to initiate socio-economic-environmental-ecological surveys in relation to Water Challenges and Water Governance in FATA. For this survey, services of graduate/undergraduate students or fresh graduates in subjects related to social sciences (sociology, economics, and management), agricultural water management, agricultural engineering and related disciplines are required. Students who have some experience in surveys or any other internship related to water governance will be given preference. The surveys would include – socio-economic conditions, water resources, land tenures, water pricing, water use by various sub-sectors of water use, water and gender, farm income, water tariffs, recovery of water fee, water policy and institutions, farmers’ organizations, etc. Only CVs of FATA origin will be entertained.
