Session on Cyber Bullying Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon organised a session for the children of Grades 4-7 on ‘Cyber Bullying’. The session was conducted by Mr. Rakshit Tandon who is an Advisor/ Investigation Expert to Cyber Crime Unit of Uttar Pradesh Police at Agra and Cyber Crime Cell of Gurgaon, Haryana Police. He also works as a Chief Resource Advisor and Speaker for IAMAI (Internet and Mobile Association of India). The session was a part of SAFE SURFING CAMPAIGN on Cyber Threats to Children in Digital World. It sensitized students about the types of Cyber Crimes, Preventive Measures to be taken while surfing the Internet, Information Technology Act and the Remedial Measures that can be taken if one is victimised by the cyber criminals. The session was an eye-opener for our students who had an array of questions to which they found the answers. Humour and day to day examples from lives of children, added meaning to the topic of discussion. Our students are now more aware and will apply the knowledge gained while being on the internet. A big thanks from Kunskapsskolan to Mr. Rakshit Tandon for conducting the session and look forward to having another one for Kunskapsskolan parents as well!
