Seton Girls Varsity Soccer Players Excel - Three cheers for Seton Catholic Centrals Girls Varsity Soccer Program which had three of its players named to the Olympic Development Program state soccer team. After competing for the past six months against many other talented players in a series of training sessions held throughout the state, it was just announced that ninth grade forward Genna Michitti, ninth grade midfielder Emily Purtell, and eighth grade goalkeeper Maddie Williams each made it through the third and final round of cuts for the U15 and U14 state soccer teams. Next week the girls will be heading down to Trenton, NJ for the ODP -- Region I soccer tournament where they will be representing the state of New York against other state teams from Maine to Virginia. Congratulations girls and best of luck in the Region I tournament!
