Setting records on a Friday morning! Dead lifting is just a hip hinge movement pattern. We use the hip hinge pattern to pick things up, jump, hit, and generally produce force from the ground. When I see a kettle bell swing, power clean, RDL, broad jump, single leg deadlift, or a rugby tackle Im seeing a hip hinge. Gain motor control of your hip hinge then add strength. Amazing things will happen!
