Setting the Facts Straight - Again In response to Service Dog Free Press blog w/photo and caption noting Caleb Anderson as Scam SD Trainer, I feel its important to share this video. Please watch, decide for yourselves based on your own impressions folks. In this clip, Caleb is working with SDiT (service dog in training) Louie and my daughter, Hailey (June, 2014). You will easily notice Hailey has no concept of what handling a SD even means let alone the cognitive ability to instruct or manage the dog. And yet, due to Calebs expertise in selection and training of service dogs, even this young still in training SD demonstrates impressive skills and obedience. Throughout this clip, regardless of where Hailey holds the leash or the pace she is moving, SDiT Louie matches stride and heels on her left without any corrections from Caleb and certainly with no direction from Hailey. Basically, Louie handled himself AND stayed with Hailey no matter what. This is what a professionally trained service dog looks like.
