Setting up “The Truth Museum” – art works and persecution artifacts are wanted Greetings fellow practitioners, Practitioners in Israel are working on establishing “The Truth Museum” that is dedicated to exposing the persecution and saving sentient beings. From “Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference”: “Question: Clarifying the truth is crucial for solving all problems, and we need to do it comprehensively and in depth, so we plan to set up museum(s) that document the facts of the genocide that has befallen Falun Gong students, helping government officials, those who invest in China, students, and media to understand the truth in depth, thereby saving beings on a broad scale. Teacher: Thats an excellent idea. Those places can display exhibits that chronicle Dafa disciples being persecuted and their validating the Fa, and serve as a place to save beings and clarify the truth.” Currently we are in the stages of establishing the museum. We thought, since there are so many practitioners in China who are excellent artists, but cant exhibit their work due to persecution, and since there are so many of them, it would not rob other potential museums in bigger cities around the world if well ask practitioners in China and around the world to send us some of their art work. The Minghui website published so many wonderful pieces of art work. We would like to invite practitioners who are artists to send their art work to us (preferably originals or a copy of a very good quality), it can be oil paintings or drawings, watercolor, paper cuts, embroidery, woodcarvings, cartoons, pyrography, ink painting, childrens art work, and even greeting cards (not computer graphic), etc. The quality of art work has to be exceptional and worthy of being exhibited, so it can have the power to save sentient beings. Since it is a museum, we are also looking for other artifacts that show the path Fa Rectification Dafa disciples traveled, such as, perhaps, banners that were hanged in dangerous places (it would be nice to include the story behind the banner if you are sending one), various artifacts related to illegal imprisonment Dafa disciples suffered (it can be items of clothing, badges worn, documentation of imprisonment (with a brief explanation what it is about), photographs of persecution suffered (with a description of the story behind the photograph), pictures of before and after the persecution, etc. Those can also be cultivation related materials and items, for instance neatly written hand written copies of Dafa books that was passed to rural areas for farmers, pre persecution pictures from the practice sites, old music box, very first copies of Zhuan Falun, pictures that reveal the miraculous nature of the practice, etc. We are not certain whether our request can in anyway impact the safety of Dafa practitioners in China, so if you are planning to send anything, please do so only if it will not undermine your safety in any way. Other practitioners around the world should not have this problem.
