Setting up a backyard play area ------------------- I have three things to ask in regards to setting up a play area in our backyard. 1. I was hoping I could get some advice on what products to use as ground cover. Im looking at the soft rubber type stuff rather than sand or bark. Ive seen some can be brought as tiles that Im assuming we could install ourselves. Has anyone used this? Is it expensive? Where did you buy it from (online or in Canberra)? 2. Im also after some advice on what play equipment would be best value for money. We dont have a lot of space but we would like something decent quality, a few different things on it (swing, slide, climbing wall, etc) and something that would suit a decent age range. Has anyone purchased something that they got a lot of use out of and love? I would also love to hear if you bought something that you regretted after so I can keep that in mind too. We wont be able to upgrade to a big play set later on as we dont have space so were hoping for something that will last the longest both due to quality and the age bracket it appeals to. 3. We would like to put a shade sail or something similar over this area. Have you done this before? How much does it cost? What company would you recommend to buy from?
