Settling into new apartment and life In kundu . I am now living at the other end of Antalya it is a fair distance from my apartment in Hurma ..distance wise approximately ???? Not sure Kundu is the tourist and resort area there are many 6 and 7 star resorts which are magnificent and out of this world the splendour of these resorts or as they are known here by hotels is something mind bogling they are like castles with golden turrents etc one is called the titanic and is shaped like the titanic ship it is huge and magnificent ..and it want sink lol. The kremlin is another hotel absolutely amazing adorned with gold etc . There are about 40 of them to appreciate their beauty you need to see them .they all have their own section of the beach with restaurants out on the ocean I will go for a walk today and take photos . I live in a huge 3 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor across the road from the beach below the apartment there are many shops and bazaars restaurants etc all very exciting . Last night a new turkish bar opened across the road it has live entertainment with turkish music and dancing . There are many bazaars and shops right at my fingertips ..which is a little dangerous lol . Last night zafer myself and semra his sister were swimming in the ocean at 10 oclock it was beautiful then returned to enjoy turkish chai and a delicious tutkish cake . Yesterday ramadan which is a month of fasting ended and it was the first day of bayram it is a time of celebration with family and friends . Then after bayram comes ed I do not like this .It is when the baby lambs .goats are slaughtered . I have now being living jn antalya for 10 months . I am happy here and enjoy my life very much although I miss my family that is the only downside . I am picking up more turkish words each day now and I am not so self conscious about speaking turkish words and mispronouncing them as I was at first .I know now how new comers to aus must feel when they dont know english it is very isolating . Today it is hot already I will swim and walk .
