Seven miles this morning into Swansea. I had intended that to be it for the day, but we were there by lunchtime and sitting at a cafe in the marina it struck me that there are actually very few activities on a city that are open to someone with a canine companion. No going into shops, or museums, just the chance of wandering around a bit aimlessly. Not being able to think of anything better to do, I carried on for another five miles in the afternoon along the beach to Oystermouth - the start of the circuit of the Gower Peninsula. Poppy seems fine after the fishhook incident yesterday, although she started shivering while we waiting for a train back to the van. It is much cooler today and forecast colder. I must remember to pack her coat in my rucksack from now on.
