Seven months today since Craigs Stroke! What a Journey it has been! Significant changes that took place in month 6, Craig captained his boat twice and he got his MyoPro Brace, which has already brought significant changes to his paralyzed left arm/hand! He held and lifted a cup to his mouth with his left arm yesterday with the use of his new brace :) Setbacks: Craigs seizure now has him on seizure medication and there is no chance of him driving for at least another six months as you must be seizure free for 6 months to be able to drive :( A minor setback looking at the big picture! Here is what I would like everyone to know! Stroke victims have not lost their intelligence, so if you see Craig, talk to him, be patient with him, he is in there, his poor brain has been injured and he just needs extra care and love! Dont be afraid to come and see us or to have us over, he is still the same quirky guy he has always been and still my man and best friend! Ask questions, I love to give answers :) Have faith in the healing process, we were told he would probably never get on his boat again much less captain her!! There are no limits to what we as people can make happen with a little Love, Hope, Prayer and Faith! As always thanks to all of you for your ongoing support
