Seven of our brother who play football back home in Sandema are here in Kumasi on the ticket of Awaambe Sports Academy. These boys at least have the opportunity of actualising their age-old dreams of playing professional football. For over one month they have been my host here justifying with clubs such as, Bechem United, New Edubiase FC, Deportivo FC, King Faisal FC, Dunkwa United and Bibiani Gold Stars. During their stay, our footballers watched training sessions of the Black Stars ahead of their AFCON 2015 qualifying game against Unganda at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. They had the rear opportunity of watching the match itself live at the stadium. They also watched FA Cup matches between Kotoko and AshantGold SC, as well ad Ashantigold SC against Accra Hearts of Oak. They met and related with players from Black Stars and the premier league to boost their confidence. Yesterday 3 of them traveled to Dunkwa to start another training session with First Division side Dunkwan United. 3 of them continue training with King Faisal FC. One will join Ali Jaraas goalkeepers Academy in Accra this week with another one joining BIBIANI Gold Stars next week Tuesday. Last week when I was home in Sandema I briefed our dear Overlord, Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II on progress extensively. We have agreed on the location for a15 acre land for the Awaambe Sports Academy. We will be launching the Azantilow Invitational Tournament soon, which will have the Azantilow Cup to play for, during the impending Feok Festival. I had a great moment when Nab Azantilow called me on Wednesday to inform me of my appointment to a five member committee to plan and execute the Feok Festival. He had been briefed on my role for the Asantehene, Otumfou Osei Tutu IIs 15th Anniversay where I worked closely with the Flagstaff House to ensure the success of the enviable ceremony by the Asante King. As a proud Bulsa from Balansa and uncles Kalgiisa, I can only be excited and extremely grateful to Nab Azantilow and the Bulsa Traditional Council for my recognition to serve my people. Brethren attached are pictures of the players at a reception offered by our Bulsa brother, Richard Richard Abilimdjo Andii here in Kumasi. Folks, Buluk First. Speak Up. Buluk Must Rise.
