Seven-year-old Tex is looking for a very special adopter who will - TopicsExpress

Seven-year-old Tex is looking for a very special adopter who will not only love him, but will be able to tend to his medical needs. After coming to the MD SPCA, little Tex was taken to a cardiologist for a consultation. He was diagnosed with moderate heart disease that requires taking medication indefinitely and being seen by a cardiologist, yearly. Tex is currently in foster care until we can find him a new home. His foster dad said, Tex’s favorite activity is just sitting with you. Most of the time you wouldn’t know he’s around. However, pay him a little attention and once he is comfortable with his surroundings and people, he will become one of the most playful pups I have seen. I have chased him around the kitchen and living room, played a very gentle tug of war and got on the floor with him to play. I wear out before he does and soon as you stop, he will sit and waits to be petted. Tex will sleep under the covers right beside you. His bark greeting at new people prevents a few kids from coming up to him but the ones that do, can pet him and touch him with no problems--he loves them; same with dogs.” If you would like more information about Tex or would like to schedule a time to meet this little cutie, email Kaitlyn at [email protected]. Help Rex find a fur-ever home. Please share his story!
