Seventh Generation, just responded to my letter: Hi Eddie. We appreciate you reaching out to us. We are currently working on a new campaign called Fight Toxins to ask Congress to introduce legislation that is tougher on the types of chemicals allowed into the products we bring into our home and use on our families. Removing these toxins from the environment would create a healthier world for people and animals alike, and Seventh Generation is committed to both a toxin free and cruelty free future. The concern is that legislation could be introduced that would require chemicals to be tested on animals. We do not encourage this at all and all our outreach to senators asks for viable alternatives to animal testing.
