Seventy-five years ago today (September 1, 1939), Nazi Germany - TopicsExpress

Seventy-five years ago today (September 1, 1939), Nazi Germany invaded Poland thus beginning the Second World War, the bloodiest war in history. Adolph Hitler used a false-flag operation conducted by his own storm-troopers as pretense for his unprovoked attack on Poland. After the war, the consensus was that the Allies should have stopped Hitler the first time he had violated the Treaty of Versailles, that is, the West should have a preemptively attacked Hitler. The counter-argument to this consensus is that it would have been impossible to contemplate the destruction and human cost that Hitler would cause the world. Yet, if people paid attention to Hitler and what he was advocating in the Twenties and Thirties, nothing that happened during the war should have been a surprise. youtube/watch?v=VImnpErdDzA
