Several HEC supporters had the opportunity to see a screening of Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret yesterday. It is a potent film, putting a needed spotlight on the astonishing damage that industrial livestock operations cause to the globes climate, waters, & forests. While several national environmental groups are highly criticized in this documentary, this otherwise fact-filled, visually moving film overlooks many others, like HEC, which have been on the frontlines of striving to safeguard our environment from factory farm pollution.
