Several areas of road construction throughout Cass County may cause delays this week. Shoulder widening work will restrict Route 7 between Stella Street in Harrisonville to Route 58 in Pleasant Hill from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays beginning July 8. The work will affect both northbound and southbound lanes at times through July 19. Grading and asphalt work will mean trucks delivering hot asphalt will be coming and going during construction. Traffic will be slowed and occasionally halted near paving operations. I-49/Route 58: New pavement construction will close the off ramp southbound I-49 to Route 58 from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 10. I-49/Route 58: New pavement construction will close the right lane southbound I-49 from 163rd St. to Route 58 from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to 8 a.m. Friday, July 12. Route 7: Shoulder work will restrict traffic north and southbound Route 7 between Price Ave. and Route 58 daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 19. Route 7: Pavement resurfacing will restrict traffic southbound Route 7 between I-49 and Route B daily from 2 p.m. to 10 a.m. through August 8, 2013. Route 7: Pavement resurfacing will restrict traffic northbound Route 7 between Route B and Route 71 daily from 2 p.m. to 10 a.m. through August 8, 2013. I-49: New pavement construction at night will close the right lane southbound I-49 between 163rd /St. and Route 58 and the off ramp to Route 58 through 8 a.m. Thursday, July 11. Route 7: Pavement resurfacing will close Route 7 between Route B and Route 71 daily from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through November 11, 2013.
