Several hours ago I got a call no mother wants to get!!! Your son was just rear ended while he was on the motorcycle. My heart stopped then I got everything together and got to the accident site. As we pulled up they were taking away the car that hit him, and the bike was in the side of the rode, he was already in an ambulance on his was to the hospital! As I was looking at the bike an older man came up to me crying saying he saw the accident and he did not think the young man on the bike was alive and he cried when he finally stood up. Years pouring down my face I told that man the bike rider was my son. After many hours in the er he is alive, very banged up, a lot of road rash and a very badly sprained ankle. I will say this one more time my son was lucky he survived, some Moms have not been so lucky PLEASE be aware of what is around you. My son was driving the speed limit, has a legal bike and was wearing a helmet the stupid idiot girl Who hit him was looking at a garage sale!!!!!!! I hope the look on his face as he flung across the hood if your car haunts you for life and makes you pay attention. And you are lucky you were gone when I got there! . PLEASE watch out for biker get are every where.
