Several hundred including me, turned out to send various messages to Obama in the La Jolla neighborhood of Billionaire Erwin Jacobs. Our side was the vast majority though you might not grock it from the local newspaper (Republican, Union Tribune). Our main messages were to stop the TPP and the XL pipeline. Across from us the zany right wing crazies, Minutemen? Tea Party? US Labor Party?John Birchers?-you get the ilk. They were enthusiastically touting Obamas impeachment for a variety of sins. As I passed by a wild eyed man trying to gather signatures for a Prop to require photo IDs in CA, I was obliged to point out the complete absence of such violations here, there and anywhere in the US. He then came at me in a rage and persisted in calling me a Dick, despite my correction that I was in fact, and had been for many years, a Charlie.
