Several of my peers that went to Oakwood Elementary School and I reunited recently. One thing led to another, and now we have started this site called Oakwood Alumni. If per chance you, or someone you know went to Oakwood Elementary School. Please feel free to invite them. Also, please feel free to copy and paste this note into your fb. page and ask the same of your contacts. After you have invited them, in some cases as I have recently discovered, you will need their e-mail address. or they can private message me. When I see their name appear on the invite, in the Oakwood Alumni site, I will formally send them a Welcome letter so we are all able to see the newest Alumni, the more the merrier. From my discovery, at least two women maintain a bond with our former Elementary School Teacher, Miss Finer, now Mrs. Sally Winter. It is her wish to reconnect with as many former students of hers as possible. Our next venue includes reuniting with former Kindergarten Teacher, Miss Finer aka Mrs. Sally Winter on Sunday, February 16th, at the Airmont Diner at 12:00 SHARP. She is under the impression that she will be reuniting ONLY with Roberta Koff aka Rebecca Rose and Deborah Sternbach-Pond. Needless to say, I hope she will be pleasantly surprised. If you had her as a teacher and wish to join us for lunch, please note that Roberta Koff aka Rebecca Rose will be spearheading this venture. Needless to say, the rest of us who show up will totally surprise her. Lets help make her dream come true.
