Several people have asked about changes allowing motorized carts on City Streets..The Ordinance reads......motorized carts may be driven on all public roads within the jurisdiction of the City which have a speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour or less. No motorized cart shall be driven on public roads having a posted speed limit in excess of thirty-five (35) mph, or on highways classified on the Federal or State Highway System..... Restrictions are atill in place concerning crossings onto to State Routes. Please use caution and drive safely! A special tag/registration is required for all motorized carts and is available at the PD. ($15)
