Several people have asked about setting up an event with the residents before Christmas or how they can support the Inn at the holidays. Were just about booked up for events between now and Christmas, but there are several ways you can help. First, if you would like to sponsor an activity for the school-aged children while they are on winter break, that would be terrific! Please donate online and well plan some fun outings to movie theaters and ice skating, etc... Second, if you would like to give gifts to the residents, wed really rather you donate gift cards from Wal-Mart, Target or Payless Shoes that we can give to them. Doing this allows our parents the dignity and joy of providing a gift for their child. Image if you had to sit and watch your child open gifts from strangers and you couldnt even give them one. This way provides a double blessing in the true spirit of giving! Third, the #1 gift everyone at the Inn wants year-round is a home. We know how to make that happen. Help make sure we meet our holiday goal with a financial contribution to our holiday fund. Our goal is $400,000 and we continue to transform lives back to independence because of your care and generosity.
