Several people whos photos Ive posted here didnt like that I was telling so many people what their jobs were out here. I took their photos down. I get now that they are straddling their own home cultures that are way different from mine. I learned that sometimes people cannot see the nobility in their own jobs that I see, and that they do not see their jobs as deserving as much respect as I see it deserves. I do tell people every day how important their jobs a cleaners are (ship doesnt sail if too many people are sick), but I understand that everyone else doesnt see their cleaning job as noble and some might want to hide what they do. My job as conductor has automatic respect here, and really in most circles, so even though I actually have high respect for others and they know that, I can be blinded by conductor privilege to others lack of respecth they get for what they do as a job, and that they might not want it widely known. #lesson
