Severe Storms likely across the Gulf again today. Isolated Tornadoes are a threat. • A request to Tag / Share / Comment and Like for newsfeed. Please Tag Family and Friends so they can be aware. Heat and Moisture from the Gulf are going to be drawn North into the Southern States, providing the optimal Severe Storm conditions. These Storms are expected to be widespread, with Tornadoes a definite possibility. While Instability is Strong, due to the Winds coming from offshore, the Atmosphere is pretty much maxing out with Moisture Levels. Storms are expected to occur throughout the Day ahead of a Cold Front which will provide a Cool Change. These Storms are expected to move towards the North-East and affect the following States: • Mississippi • Louisiana • Alabama • Tennessee Isolated Storms are possible in surrounding States, however the bulk of the activity is in these States. Heavy Rain with Flash Flooding is LIKELY. Damaging Winds in excess of 60mph are also LIKELY. Isolated Tornadoes are possible, along with Waterspouts. Large Hail is also LIKELY due to the frigid Upper Level Temperatures. Please take warnings seriously, and remain as safe as possible. Flooding around the South of MS, AL and LA will provide horrible driving conditions - so please be aware of this.
