Severe Thunderstorm Warning for damaging winds for the Simpson and Lasseter forecast districts Issued at 8:50 pm CST on Tuesday 16 December 2014. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce DAMAGING WINDS in parts of the Lasseter and southern Simpson forecast districts. Locations that may be affected include Finke, Kulgera, Titjikala, Curtin Springs, Docker River, Hermannsburg, Watarrka, Watarrka Obs site and Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park. The Northern Territory Emergency Service advises that people should: Secure loose outside objects. Ensure pets and animals are in a safe area. Avoid remaining in the open when storms threaten.
