Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Winds l Riverina, Upper Western, Lower Western and Snowy Mountains A vigorous cold front will move into southwestern New South Wales late this afternoon and evening, bringing a squally southwesterly change. The front is expected to weaken somewhat as it moves towards the east overnight, although the alpine peaks are likely to experience strengthening northwesterly winds. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of 90 km/h are forecast for the Lower Western and parts of the Riverina and Upper Western forecast districts late this afternoon or evening. Alpine areas above 1900 metres in the Snowy Mountains district are likely to have damaging wind gusts of 110 km/h tonight and early Tuesday. .bom.gov.au/nsw/warnings/severe.shtml
