Severely dissapointed in our medical system. My latest brush with death was not from my cancer. I had an infection in my face deep in my sinuses. That what was making everything bleed and swelling up my lymph nodes not my tumor. My tumor is not affecting my health in any way. It has not grown at all since 2012. A 10 day run of amoxicillin fixed all the swelling and bleeding.There is no more bleeding, no more swellng of my lymph nodes, no more pain. I can chew, swallow and eat anything I want. I suffered for 8 months and almost died because they could only see the tumor because thats where the money is. I saw at least 8 different Drs. and they all said the same thing You have a stage 4 tumor that is causing all these problems. You must have chemo and radiation to alleviate the problem or it will kill you some even suggested radical surgery. The last Dr. I went to looked at me for about 10 mins. and said you have a serious infection in your facial sinuses and prescribed me the amoxicillin. I feel better now than I have since 2009. Im going to take my last 2 rounds of chemo. It hasnt made me sick because its a different kind of chemo than what they normally use. Its made from highly alkaloid plants not mustard gas(cisplatin). But I am still going to to refuse radiation. The RSO has been working. PLLW
