Sewa Bharti reformed a village of unlisted tribe - Singhi, who were demonized since British era, as Tribe of Criminals. Sewa Bharti and Sanghs Samajik Samrasta started work in this remote village in 1989. Before 1989, Singhi tribe was equivalent to Musahar tribe in Bihar. They were not listed in ST category, hence no Government benefits. Sewa bharti worked to get them included in ST category, and at the same time did continous sewa work to improve their life. Today, past students of this center are running the center. Two past students are in good government jobs, but still living here and supporting the Prakalp.
