Sewing again.. On the aketon of eternity. Out of desperation, I put in braveheart... It has been a decade since I watched this crap. Absolutely atrocious armor, really really bad.. I dont see what all the fuss at the wedding was about. Those peasants should have been overjoyed with the blessings of Noble breeding upon their house... although I do agree the Knight had to die.. To show his face in public bearing a ratty butted galvanized chain shirt.... And that ridiculous helmet is certainly cause enough to raze his holding... Only a weak Knight would wear such ignoble harness. Of course, that was further proven by the fact that a bunch of diseased peasants clothed in rags and rotten cow hides overran his perfectly defensible position. Most heinous of all of course is that Sir William Wallace is portrayed as a filthy peasant. Makes me wonder if His ghost cursed Mel Gibson... He did wind up doing that passion of Christ thing. The more historic story would have been so much more interesting. For the record.... Filthy inbred peasants from the highlands did not win the battle of Bannockburn by their moxy. In fact, Robert the Bruce, according to some accounts, turned away those who were not equipped properly for war. (Wise) Did I mention the armor in this movie sucks??!!?! Ok, back to sewing.
