Seymur Hazi, the anchor of the Azerbaijani Hour satellite TV program and editor of Azadliq newspaper, detained by Apsheron district police. His exact whereabouts is unknown. He could only call his lawyer to say he is detained and it is Apsheron police. Several days ago police arrested Murad Adilov, brother of the Azerbaijani Hour co-anchor Natiq Adilov. The show they prepare is critical of Azerbaijani government and is delivered through satellite from Turkey. Seymur and Natiq work on the show from Baku. This show is the only mean of critical information for rural Azerbaijani residents, who dont use internet but tuned to Turkish satellite. The program has been jammed many times.
