Sgt W here from Tennent St NPT Some of my team and me were in for some extra patrolling this afternoon. Kelly and me were taking some statements for an overnight assault case where a male had been arrested, while Eammon, Karl, Charlie and Louise were up on the beat around Ligoniel, Thornberry and Mill Valley. When we joined them they were speaking to some of the locals at the Wolfhill Centre who were in working just in case any local people needed some assistance in the cold weather. These are the people that delivered over 50 food hampers to needy families prior to Xmas, so a good job done there. Of the 2 Ms working there, one had a bit of sore foot, but still a rather stylish black leg cast. MB - you know who you are!!! We then managed to do a foot patrol down from Ligoniel to the Crumlin Road and along the Ardoyne shops before going through Twaddell where the locals were in good form. The best photo attached has to be little Meeko the husky pup from the Ligoniel Road. We finished up walking around Tescos on the Ballygo as well as going around Lyndhurst and Westway where there were (unconfirmed) reports of a rather tall police officer nearly going down on the ice
