Sh!tbox Sunday: Early in 09 I drove 750 miles (one way) to physically lay eyes on this rare 60 Superior Crown Royale limo style combination in horrid 80s pink pajamas. Having surfaced periodically since the 90s, figured time had come to finally inspect this turd as my 60 Crown search had been going on 13 years at that point. Disappointment became an understatement even considering expectations were kept quite low: Baby blue, turquoise, & pink interior. Rear compartment gutted with additional seating added. Entire floor from firewall to inside rear loading door was completely rotted out and missing showing nothing but grass/earth underneath (surprisingly, body mounts to frame were somehow intact). Turquoise painted dash. Crown specific parts either damaged or missing. Needless to say, I left without even making an offer and the search continued.
