Shabbat Shalom People of YHVH! Every seven days we are to rest. It is a cycle that YHVH put into place for His People. It is His mark upon them. It is a sign of obedience, loyalty and commitment to Him…it is an outward expression of their love for Him and for His Way of life. The way that we honor that commitment says a lot about how much we value His Word and His Commands. What can be any more important, then our obedience to Him? The way that we honor and guard Shabbat, says a LOT about our spiritual condition. There are always the temptations, always the activities and events to lure us away from keeping Shabbat set-apart and special. There are six days for everything else! You have six days to do all of the things that need to be done…you have time to prepare. Preparation is important…very important. We are in a time of preparation right now…waiting on Yeshua to return. How many will be caught doing other things and spending their time, energy and focus elsewhere when the cry goes out? Plowing time and harvest are very important times for those who farm, those who sow and reap, but still…they were to rest. We MUST guard and watch over what He has given to us. Do NOT be lured away and drawn aside. Exodus 34:21 21 ‘Six days you work, but on the seventh day you rest - in plowing time and in harvest you rest. Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
