Shabbat shalom and Rosh Chodesh - Kislev ..its all happening..enjoy Kislev - The Month of the Tribe of Benjamin 23rd November - 22nd December 2014 Dear advancing family ...we are at the threshold of a new Hebrew month . This is Kislev , the month of the tribe of Benjamin ..son of the right hand ..authority and grace. Further down the outline we refer to the birthing place of Benjamin in Israel . This is very significant as it shines the attention upon Israel to the world. Gods hand is indisputedly upon Israel and as we said in the word for 5775 He is going to demonstrate His love and governance over Israel , particulalrly Jerusalem which is His city and the city of David . David represents the kingdom government that will come forth in the right time. It will be fully seen when Christ returns and sets up His millenial government right in this place.The world is looking at Israel at this time ..isnt it a wonder how such a small nation should stir up such feelings in the earth ..ever wondered why ? Watch this space it will be worth it..we as the Church have been given a fresh mandate to pray for the peace of Jerusalem . God is refiring us so that we passionately intercede for her good ..It is His heart being outworked within us..pray ..pray ..pray.. shalom ..shalom ..Doug & Rhona and family Kislev - The Month of the Tribe of Benjamin 23rd November - 22nd December 2014 The focus of this month is upon our inner rest and security in the Lord. God gives us this month to deal with our own inner issues and issues with our relationships with others and Him. It is wonderful that our Heavenly Father has catered for our human frailties isn’t it ! He knows what we have need of and what we must do at least once a year to put things right with ourselves. We like to look at others and maybe make observations but the spotlight is turned to us today ! God makes Himself so available to help us through these times so that we can increase our trust and dependence upon Him. It is reassuring to know that really we cannot get along accurately without Him . This month is about confidence and trust in Him. We need to look seriously at our giving and also who is giving into our lives. It is time to take account and make some adjustments. We also need to make some adjustments to our circle of friends to ensure we are being committed to them but also that they are not dragging us back into yesterday’s revelation and stopping us going forward. Let the Lord show you the details of these things. The Hebrew letter associated with this month is “Samekh” which represents coming full circle , trust and support. Benjamin was the only child born in the promised land so this is a month when we need to watch the activities of Israel as they will show how Israel is changing course and their direction in the earth. The tribe of Benjamin were great bowsmen and warriors . Kislev is a time to look at our war strategies and make adjustments to them in order to cut through straight . A time to let go of things which have hindered us and got in the way , little side distractions but also some bigger issues that we have dealt with so many times before. Speak to that thing this month and declare that you are not going that way again ...you are not treading or climbing that mountain again ! IT IS FINISHED AND YOU ARE FINISHED WITH IT ! This is a month of tranquility and peace even though wars may break around you..declare this “ I am walking in peace and confidence in God and I shall be at peace and still no matter will draw me away from this stance “ Time to upgrade our warring strategies and get them in order and sharpened . Hear from Heaven and align our strategies on earth with the insight of the Lord. Dreams and night visions directed by the Lord are very prevalent this month . He uses these to communicate to us what we need to deal with of the inner workings that have affected our tranquility and peace . He wants to get us to a position where we can enter a greater flow of His river in us. So we can go forward and up a level . We cannot go up into greater fullness unless we deal with our inner feelings . Let Him speak to you through these dreams and then ask Him to help you deal with the issues involved. Then we can go up higher ! Channukah starts in Kislev and ends in Tevet it speaks of mercy in the midst of turmoil and destruction . The light never goes out so there’s always a beacon of hope for your future. God’s mercy is everlasting and His grace is sufficient . God is love and His love never ends. He will impart mercy into you whatever has caused destruction be it physical , mental or emotional or even relational He will heal every situation if we give Him access. Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy name . Amen
