Shabnam Assadollahi a prominent human rights advocates account, has been disabled and locked by facebook since July 27th, 2014. Despite many emails She and a few activists sent to facebook protesting this wrong action by facebook, they still did not open shabnams main profile. THIS is unacceptable! This is a simple journalistic questions Shabnam Assadolahi asked Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Shirin Ebadi, under a post on Sepidedam few hours before her profile was disabled: Why havent Shirin Ebadi and her fellow Noble Peace Prize Winner colleagues given any public statement against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hizbullah, AlQaida, ISIS, Hamas, Alshabob, Boko Haram, Assad and Putin. What is it in for them now that they are backing Hamas? Mr. Steven Kressel resented their behaviour and raised his voice against facebook rule : There is something seriously and dangerously wrong now with Facebook, They do not take down reported Hate Sites and I know of two prominent human rights advocates (Shabnam Assadollahi and Tarek Fatah) who have had their sites deactivated. This has always been the great risk of the internet. That WE are hostage and they who control the net can stop us from communicating with each other in just seconds. The only solution I can think of is WE need to expose this to mass media and do it while we still can. Please everyone lets work on this immediately. Contact the ACLU, the Canadian equivalent of the ACLU, the ADL, any organization involved in Free speech, and your political representatives.
