Shadow boxing of Ex Gov Obi, a vote of no confidence on Chief - TopicsExpress

Shadow boxing of Ex Gov Obi, a vote of no confidence on Chief Willie Obiano. I have trying to avoid joining issues with clueless SSAs to HE Obiano over the exist of Ex Gov Obi. They constantly asserts that Ex Gov Obi left our party (APGA) for selfish reasons. Let me reluctantly accept that Obi is pursuing his personal interest, he has d right to, he has tried for us and this is the time to move on. He installed APGA governor in the person of Willie Obiano before he leaving. He did best in the state in the circumstances he find himself. Anambra moved from no functional public schools to functional schools emerging overall best in Nigeria. Take it or leave his foot prints are there for all to see. He embarked on development programmes without selfishness. But let me asked, what is selfish interest in politics, who is not selfish but wanting to rule over others ?, If politicians are not selfish why are there not supporting another persons, but he insisted on himself. Why is Sir Ume contesting for Senate whilst sitting as National Chairman.....? The only way to know selfish interest is when the person get to power and he focus on himself & families. If anybody is aspiring for power he remained selfish until he show he is not by working for the peoples interest. Obi is aspiring for power and I believe it is for our interest, when he get to Abuja he will considered Anambra state first, Ndigbo second, and Nigeria at large thats is my reading of his political move. For you people seeking political elected office via APGA, you maybe right to said that Peter Obi betrayed us as far as we are concerned that if he campaigned for you, winning is assured. We must ask whether we did enough retain him as member. Moreover we helped him to win his own, so our grouse is certain and understandable. But he left Obiano there to help APGA aspirants except we are saying that Obiano is incompetent to lead us as party. Ex Gov quiet sensibly never wanted to kill APGA. He reclaimed his mandate in 2006 to save APGA from de registration . He did not decamp to PDP in 2010 or 2011 or 2013. Ofcourse everybody will agree with me that if he decamped then he would have kill APGA and give us in APGA people a good betrayal, but he didnt. We must understand this is strategic to Abuja, if he miss it because of APGA sentiment , then I wonder what will be of igbos in d federal level next 4 years seeing that d president is only trusting him for the interest of Ndigbo. Obiano handlers must stop boxing shadows lets us seat back and campaign based on issues. At the present APGA stands a better Chance in Anambra, SE and beyond. We could possibly cash into PDP crises in Enugu and ors.
