Shadrach Gbokie, my younger brother and friend that I am proud of in so many ways! Academic Comparison between the two of us 1. University education: We both graduated from the University of Ghana for our undergrad studies - Shadrach got a BA Sociology (minored in political science with FGPA of 3.51) while my a BSc Agriculture (minored in Crop Science with FGPA of 3.43) 2. Senior & Junior High School education: In senior high (3 years of specialization training), he pursued studies in Busines elective subjects in Accounting, Economics, Business Management and Elective Mathematics); served as the Main House Prefect for Eliot House Boys Dormitory; and President for Peer Counselors at the Adisadel College in Cape Coast, Ghana. His WAEC aggregate was far higher than my for the best 6 subjects that qualify students for admission into Ghanaian Universities. I became pursuing a scientific profession in High School in Ghana and my elective subjects at the Preset Pacesetters Inst. were Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Elective Mathematics. I served at the Vice President for the Scripture Union (SU) at this Senior High School in Madina, Accra, Ghana. For my high school education in Liberia, I attended the Salvation Army School System - 2000/2001 at William Booth on the Pipeline Road in Paynesville City for the 11th Grade & 1999/2000 at the Len Millar previous just behind the Monrovia City Hall for the 10th Grade in which I served as the Class Prefect for my class that year. At the Junior level: Shadrach Gbokie schooled in Ghana at the Rev. John Teah school (initial started at Elementary Level) in Accra and later went to the Datus school in Kasoa where he served as the President for the Scripture Union during his 9th Grade year at Datus. I rather school at this level only at thet Len Millar which was previous on the 5th St. Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia, where I served as Class Perfect in the 8th and 9th grades. In the 8th Grade I became the Vice School Prefect to K Jlayteh Sayor and in the 9th Grade I became the School Prefect was assisted my Iris Martor. I graduate from the 9th grade in 1999 and was the Valendatorian for the graduating 9th class that year. At the Elementary Level: Shadrach Gbokie attended the Len Millar for about two years in the 3rd to 5th Grade and got double promotion for the period before relocating to William Booth where he schooled for 2 years and served as the Elementary School Section President in this last year at this school. For my elementary, I attended for 1 year (1995/1996) at the Len Millar for Grade 6th; 1 year (1994/1995) at the St. Peter Elementary, Junior and Senior High School still on the 14th St. Sinkor, Monrovia for Grade 5th; and 3 years (1991 - 1994) the Tai Ville Refugee School in Tai District, La Cote DIvoire for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and four Grades with series of double promotions as a refugee then! I also served as class prefect in the classes 3 and 4 at this school. Interestingly, I have all of my academic terminal reports from 4th Grade to date even up to the master level! In conclusion, Shadrach seems to beat me up, I think! He just a genius. He as awarded scholarship from the 10th Grade/SSS 1 straight up the his 4 years in the university (i.e 7 years of scholarship as a refugee students right in Ghana). Like him, I got scholarship 6 years of University education at the University of Ghana (BSc and MPhil) and benefited from the Government of Liberia Ministry of Education Scholarship commencing from my 9th Grade, however inconsistent the scholarship funding was provided for me in Liberian Schools of choice.
