#Shahbag #SaveBangladesh Dr Zakir Naik is a very scholarly man. We have no problems in accepting that the man has immense knowledge on various religions and religious scriptures. But with all due respect to his religious knowledge, he should stick to his guns rather than embark on the task of discrediting the father of modern evolutionary biology, Charles Darwin. Men, far knowledgeable than Mr Naik, have tried and failed at that already. Men, far more worthy than Mr Naik, have already accepted evolution not only as a credible theory but as a scientific fact (substantiated by ancient fossil and DNA evidence). This is what happens when a cleric (no matter how good he might be in his field) tries to discredit science in light of religious dogma: They make 25 mistakes in 5 minutes!
