Shahrukh Khan’s heroine in ‘Happy New Year’ will be a newcomer! Farah Khan has zeroed in on Shahrukh Khan’s leading lady for ‘Happy New Year’ Farah Khan is all charged up to start her movie Happy New Year with her friend Shahrukh Khan. As reported earlier, an intensive hunt was on for the movie’s leading lady, and now Farah has almost finalized the girl. Though there were apparently several established names such as Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra , Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha in contention for the role opposite Shahrukh Khan, reports have it that Farah Khan has found a new girl for the movie. The director launched model Deepika Padukone opposite Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om (2007), and is now planning to rope in another newcomer for her ambitious Happy New Year. It’s learnt that Farah Khan wanted a prrety girl n fresh face who can act as well as dance, since the role is of a bar dancer from Bhandup. Apparently, almost 70 girls which include some big names auditioned for the role. The insiders claim that it took three months for the director to get the right girl. Happy New Year will go on floors in September, and Farah Khan is now waiting for Shahrukh Khan’s approval. Farah even confirms that the girl is almost finalized for the film, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani. As soon as Farah gets Shahrukh’s nod she will start training the girl.
